A Winning Collection At H&M... Vogue Today

H&M is onto a winner. Recent graduate Eddy Anemian, who received the H&M Design Award this year, is set to launch his eye-catching capsule collection for the high street brand later this month.
Working closely with H&M's design team, Anemian, who has just completed his final year at La Cambre School of Art and Design in Brussels, recreated the technique he used for his winning pieces which involved reconstructing strips of floral upholstery fabric to create abstract patterns. Key pieces from the upcoming collection include a full-length skirt and a blue-printed two-piece - both constructed from vertical strips of floral fabric - and a white jumpsuit with floral patterns on the sleeves.
Of winning the acolade, Anemian says: "It was an incredible experience to create my collection with H&M. They really respected my vision to translate my couture cutting and sewing techniques to a wider audience. It was like seeing my designs come to life."
Eddy Anemian's collection will launch in selected stores and online from October 23 2014. He is the latest winner of the annual H&M Design Award which began in 2012 to support young fashion graduates.
